Many people, young and old, have health problems where they need to sleep in a 'sitting up' posture or with their legs raised because of circulatory problems etc. Or they may just want the sheer luxury of being able to adjust their bed at the touch of a button to sit up in bed to watch TV, read a book or take breakfast in bed! Electric adjustable beds are designed to provide great comfort to the fit and healthy as well as sufferers of medical conditions such as back pain, sciatica, asthma, arthritis and rheumatism.
An adjustable bed can help you with a host of problems. For instance, sleeping with head raised helps alleviate snoring and keeps stomach acids down if suffering from acid reflux disease. Sleeping with feet raised can relieve back pain, muscle aches, swelling, and poor circulation. Raising both head and feet creates a more comfortable sleep situation.
Airsprung Beds have two stylish designs; E-Motion (pictured left) has a stylish upholstered base, or if you are after a more contemporary feel the Autonomy (pictured right) should appeal. Autonomy has an attractive beech effect frame and a low slung, modern designer look. E-Motion is available with an optional Profile upholstered headboard and the Autonomy is available with an optional beech finish headboard. Both beds feature a five action motor which controls beech sprung slats to provide a choice of positions.
Millbrook Action beds combine the luxury of all Millbrook beds and the latest in technology for unlimited control and comfort. A 10,000n motorised 5-way action facility enables ease of adjustment for perfect body support with a corded hand control to create a position of your choice at your fingertips! A mains isolation unit and emergency power unit are fitted as standard.
Sweet Dream's adjustable range comprises of two electronically driven models, distinguished by their mattress; the Supreme (pictured left) has pocket springs while the Dreamatic (pictured right) features a 6" layer of super-soft bultex. Both these adjustable models feature a laminated beech slatted base, and a five-action touch-button system that independently adjusts each body position, starting with the feet, then the knees, and finishing with the perfect neck support.
A massage unit is an optional extra to the range. The unit fits discreetly to the slats beneath the mattress and helps you ease away those aches and pains – wonderful. If you order the massage unit (and why not!), then a dual function remote control, operating both the bed and the unit, comes as standard.
